Information we collect, and where it comes from
Public records. Property and ownership details from county property appraiser
and tax records — owner name, mailing address, parcel identifier, acreage, assessed value, and
tax-delinquency status.
Contact-lookup (skip tracing). Where available, a phone number and/or email
address for the owner, obtained from a third-party data provider so we can reach you.
Your responses. If you reply to us (by mail, email, text, or phone), we keep a
record of that contact, including any request not to be contacted.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we do not collect sensitive
categories of data (such as Social Security numbers or financial-account numbers) about you.
How we use it
To contact you, one-to-one, about a possible purchase of property you own — by mail, email, or text message.
To respond to you and to keep track of who has asked not to be contacted.
To keep records required for legal and tax purposes and to prevent abuse.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
Service providers who help us operate, under contract and only as needed: a
contact-lookup provider, an email provider, and a text-messaging provider.
Legal: when required by law or to protect our rights and safety.
Your choices and rights
Stop email: reply UNSUBSCRIBE to any email, or use the opt-out
link in it.
Stop texts: reply STOP to any text message — this opts you out automatically.
Stop all contact, or request access or deletion of the information we hold about
you: contact us using the details above. We honor do-not-contact requests and maintain a
suppression list so you are not contacted again.
State privacy rights. Depending on your state of residence, you may have
additional rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of the “sale” or
“sharing” of your personal information. We honor verifiable requests to the extent the
law requires — contact us to exercise them.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as needed for the outreach described above and for legal
recordkeeping. Do-not-contact records are kept so we can continue to honor your opt-out.
How we protect it
Access to our system requires authentication, and outbound messages use signed, single-purpose
opt-out links. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit
what we collect.
